Alex is a heavy diesel fitter with 8 years of hands-on experience in the mining and heavy machinery industry. His expertise and passion for solving real-world problems led him to create APW, a brand that directly addresses the struggles and inefficiencies fitters face daily. From Frustration to Innovation
How It All Started
APW was born out of a desire to find better solutions for everyday problems. Working in the field, Alex saw the constant struggle of using foil tape that leaves residue and rubbish, dealing with plastic bags and zip ties that only cause more mess, and the alternative heavy cumbersome steel fittings.
Alex Completed His YT degree in 3D modelling and designing to develop better, more efficient solutions. After countless failures and hours of testing in harsh mining conditions this hands-on experience allowed him to create products that help fitters like himself work smarter, not harder. The result?
